This workshop will explain how patients should explore and navigate their options and present a case study that outlines the experience that a patient traveling abroad for medical care would have from beginning to end.

Introduction to Global Health Care

2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This workshop will provide a complete introduction to the medical tourism phenomena, including standards for measuring quality of care, global healthcare business law for providers and payers, and the international patients' bill of rights. Josef Woodman, author of the definitive medical tourism book Patients Beyond Borders: Everybody's Guide to Affordable, World-Class Medical Tourism, will host this workshop.
