Passionate about a vision of physicians prescribing coaching for health behavior change on a large scale, Margaret Moore founded Wellcoaches Corporation in early 2000 to train mental and physical health professionals to become health, fitness, and wellness coaches (in collaboration with the ACSM and CMSA), and market wellness coaching services to consumers (in collaboration with Rodale), corporations, health clubs, health plans, and physicians (in collaboration with Harvard Medical School).
