Ms. Borow-Johnson is a leader in communications, transactional businesses, new business development and the electronic media industries-- from on air reporting and talk show hosting, to broad based branding and direct marketing campaigns for consumer goods--- to building and running cable television niche networks, to producing infomercials, award winning documentaries and public service announcements as well as deploying new interactive technologies--, she brings unique skills and experiences in the media. Ms. Borow-Johnson currently is The Senior Vice President of Turner Media Group, and President of The Healthy Living Channel. She has been the Chairman and principal owner of the consulting firm CMSA Inc. in Chicago that specializes in transactional media, healthcare, biotechnology, interactive advertising, direct marketing and product placement. Recently she served as President of Television, securing media distribution, for the soon to be launched Brands Shopping Network Inc. She was the President and CEO of RnetHealth Inc., a publicly traded company and was the President and CEO of Recovery Television Network, the only media outlet dedicated to Recovery reaching over 16 million cable households. Ms. Borow-Johnson is the founding Chairman of the Board of eHI- e-Health Initiative. She was the e-healthcare expert and Co-host of Alexander Haig's World Business Review: Special Reports on Health. She has consulted to over 15 major on line and media companies including ATT, Insight Digital Cable and AOL and has worked on Direct to Consumer advertising campaigns on more than 25 pharmaceutical and consumer packaged good products. She consults to many investment banking groups on media and emerging technology. She is a frequent speaker, talk show guest and expert on integrated advertising, transaction based media, healthcare policy and communications.

She was also the Vice President of Marketing for Source Media' s Interactive Channel and worked on the launch of the first two-way interactive cable system for Insight Digital Cable. She has developed multiple integrated interactive media and advertising campaigns for consumer goods and services.

Ms. Borow-Johnson has extensive advertising agency experience. She was a Senior Vice President of McCann Consumer Healthcare where she launched numerous branding and direct marketing campaigns for healthcare, biotechnology and consumer packaged good companies. Prior to joining McCann she was Senior Vice President of Medicus/DMBB and President of Com-Med Interactive.

Ms. Borow-Johnson was the Founder and President of American Medical Television, a partnership of NBC Cable and the American Medical Association, and also was the first woman Vice President of the American Medical Association. As Vice President of the American Medical Association she created Physicians Responds to Aids and sat on the media advisory for the CDC America Responds to Aids.

She produced the video education programming for OSHA on bloodborne pathogen and created the national teleconference series Depression in Primary Care Medicine for the National Institute of Mental Health. She also created the Discovery TV Special American Airlift to Romania: Medicine Moves. She produced the first PSA that cleared all three networks and used the word condom: Play it Safe or don't play at All, on Aids with Tony Danza. She has produced award winning public service announcements with celebrities such as Maria Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenhager, Christopher Reeves, Peggy Fleming, Mark Spitz, Elliot Gould, Emmanuel Lewis, Wilford Brimley among others. She trained Drs Koop and Novello for their senate confirmation hearings. She has been a consultant to the FDA on direct to consumer advertising and medical marketing on the Internet.

Ms. Borow-Johnson has won NY Film Festival Gold and Silver Medals, The International Medical Film Festival's Freddie Award, The PRSA's Golden Anvil, and was awarded the Women in Communications Skye Award as well as being honored with the American Medical Writers Alvarez Award.

In 2001 and 2002 the American Biographical Institute Board of International Research named Ms. Borow-Johnson as one of their Woman of the Year. Ms. Borow-Johnson was named as Today's Chicago Women's 100 Women Making a Difference in Chicago in July 2000. In 1996 she was one of the Chicago Sun Times Leaders of the Pack, In 1995 100 Working Women in Chicago. She was one of Glamour Magazine's Outstanding Working Women, Savvy Magazine's Women under 40. She sits on the board or advisory board of several healthcare and media companies. Ms. Borow-Johnson is named in the 2001 Who's Who in American Executives and Professionals, Women on WallStreet.

Ms. Borow-Johnson is a Phi beta Kappa Magna Cum Laude graduate of Goucher College and was named alumni of the decade for the l970s. She has a Masters Degree in Counseling from Goddard College and a certificate in Psychotherapy from Harvard's Judge Baker Guidance Center. She created the out patient arts therapy program and fund raising program for Childrens Hospital in Boston called Theatre at the Square. She has raised over 50 million dollars in sponsorship and grant funding for various organizations.
